Part of my job, yes I am actually working here, has included going into the commands to give briefings, usually about their education benefits. When I am in Sasebo I am extremly fortunate to have Dave from Navy College. Not only does he set up my briefings in the commands and drives me to the briefings but after the briefings he usually drives me around Sasebo to show me some of the hidden wonders. For one of my briefings we went to Munitions where the ammo is actually stored inside the hills, pretty cool isn't it. After this briefing he showed me the old Japanese Imperial Navy cemetery. It was pretty cool to see how they incorporated the naval theme throughout the cemetery.
