Bye Bye Croatia!

It was a great trip and I can not imagine how busy it is during the season since there were a lot of tourists when we were there.  Zagreb and Split were interesting because there was so much graffiti but they were both safe cities with beautiful sights.  To get to the airport we used the car from the car rental place.  It is a small airport so don't need a lot of time. However, our flight was delayed.  We originally only had an hour in between flights but we landed with 20 minutes to our next flight. We ran through the airport and I am not sure how other people got there at the same time as us but we all made the flight.  We originally wanted to buy seats with extra leg room but couldn't. The flight attendant offered us the bulk head seats and Chris said no but I quickly said yes. I am definitely glad we went to Croatia, the weather was amazing and we had a wonderful time!

Last night of Dubrovnik

I read about this restaurant called 360 that supposedly had amazing views and was located right on the wall.  It was pricey but interesting food and views. We had a waiter that did just drinks and a waiter that did just food.  It was an interesting experience.

This was my entree - gnocchi and shrimp.  Not for people who want a big meal.

My appetizer was carrots done in different ways.

After that we ended with some drinks and dessert back at the hotel.

Good Luck In Dubrovnik

On the wall of the Franciscan Monastery there is a little stone with a race peaking out of the all. Your task is to try and stand on it without falling and if you make it you will have luck for the rest of the year.  Chris did an awesome job!

This is the inside of the Franciscan Monastery. It was an amazing blue color inside.

We then went back to the hotel and went in the pool and sat out by the water for a little bit.

Cable Car and Walk

There is a cable car that takes you to the the Imperial Fort. In 1969, it was the first and only cable car in the Adriatic. The Imperial Fort was built by Napoleon.  We took the cable car up and then walked down. Amazing views and highly recommend.

The trail is not marked so we started heading the wrong way but we eventually found it. Not a lot of people knew about it because people were like why would you only buy a one way ticket.  There were some people walking up but we did not see anyone else walking down when we were. Just like their beaches there were a lot of rocks on the walk down.

On each turn there is a Station of the Cross depiction.
