Cousin time!!!!

The world is so small...................Oddly enough when we were in Madrid so was Bridget's cousin.  He is studing in Spain and his enitre class came to Madrid for the weekend.  Trying to meet up with him was interesting because we weren't sure if he had a Spanish phone and thought he just had an American phone so we were emailing and texting; and o yeah he is a college aged boy so that put a whole different twist into it.  We said we would meet up with him later, the problem is later and dinner times are like around 11 so really what does later mean?!?!!? So we ended up going and having some sangria and some amazing mozzerela sticks as we waited for him to call us.  We just wanted tapas because we didn't know what we were going to do about dinner but this restaurant was not actually tapas so we sat in the window and watched some protesters snake down the street, holding hands.

So her cousin said that they were at their hotel so after not hearing from him we decided to just take a cab over to him.  The hotel was broken into actually two buildings so we went over and asked and they called but no answer.  So as we walked into the building we saw a pizza delivery guy leaving so we figured we were in the right place.  After calling multiple numbers we finally got a hold of him adn told him where we were and guess what, he was back by our hotel!!! So we hopped into another cab and he told us to take it to the Opera Metro Station because they were at a restaurant near by.  Our cab driver was talking to us in my very broken Spanish and his semi decent English but he just could not understand why we were taking the cab to the Metro Station. I asked Bridget what the word to meet was and she didn't know and the cab driver did not understand me so I said " Vamamos a a su primo" which is basically "We go to her cousin" - well the cab driver thought this was funniest thing he has ever heard in his entire life because he could not stop laughing, hysterically laughing.

After we met up with her cousin and his friends for a little bit they decided to go to a salsa bar so we went with them for a little bit and then they decided to go to a club. Well because we didn't want to seem old, though we had a good 11 years on these kiddos, we walked past our hotel ran up got changed and headed out to this club.  This club is called Kapital  and is huge - it is seven floors, all a little bit different, and three different types of music.  We left early and I believe early was like 3:30 but really what I can say, we are old!
