Excuses Excuses!!

So I have been slacking on the blogging, part of the reason is because I have actually been in Iwakuni for almost 3 weeks straight. This is the longest time I have actually been in one place since I got here! It has been nice to take a break from traveling every single week; however, the downside is that it is becoming more and more like home and I leave in 3 weeks. Things are going well and I have been doing a lot of command briefings, which includes doing a movie theater briefing. I did a briefing at our movie theater for 163 Marines and it was an extremely interesting experience having my head bob on the bottom of the slides which were on the movie screen and looking out with the projector lights in my eye. Even though the first row of my Marines were sleeping (in both of our defenses some were made to be there by their commands) it went well and I received a very nice email from a Lt Col. Last week I did 3 briefings in 2 days and at all 3 briefings I had people doing chewing tobacco. Seriously, it is disgusting and so distracting when I have to look out and see people doing it. Also, when they are asking me questions I was too busy focusing on if it was going to fall out of their mouths! Soooooooooooo disgusting!!! Since I have only 3 weeks left I have to get my rear in gear on blogging so keep an eye out for new postings!
